Founded in 1939, the Columbian Club of Chicago serves as a social, cultural and charitable outlet for its membership. The club hosts an installation and scholarship dinner in January, a candlelight bowl in February, a St. Joseph’s Table in March, a sports night in April, a cook your own Italian meal night in May, a card tournament in June, a boat excursion in August, a group excursion in September, a bocce tournament in October, a family mass in November and a Christmas party in December. Annual dues are $350. Officers are installed each year in January and board meetings are the third Wednesday of the month. The Columbian Club Charitable Foundation hosts a golf outing in July that raises funds for scholarships and donations to worthy causes. Offices are located at 8115 W.
