Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Italian-American Veterans Museum and Library explores the contributions of Italian Americans in the defense of our nation from the Revolutionary War to the present; serves as a resource center for scholars, students and the general public; and offers comfort and assistance to service men and women and veterans of all ethnicities. The IAVML hosts a family day for American troops in June and a fundraising variety show in August. The IAVML also sponsors documentaries, books and other projects that enhance the public’s understanding of Italian Americans in the military, as well as events that inform service men and women and veterans of the services available to them and create a sense of community and belonging. The IAVML is located on the third floor of the Casa Italia Office Center, 3800 Division St., Stone Park, IL 60165.
