Frank A. Pasquale
Frank A. Pasquale has served as mayor of Bellwood since 2001. During his tenure, he has launched several economic development and capital improvement projects, enhanced intergovernmental cooperation and public/private partnerships, and instituted programs that have increased public safety and reduced crime. An advocate for access to higher education, he has been instrumental in making GED classes available to village residents through Triton College as well as bachelor’s and master’s degree programs through Benedictine University. A village resident for 40 years, Pasquale previously served as a village trustee, Memorial Park District commissioner, coach and president of the Bellwood Little League, and Oak/Leyden Development Services board member. A retired educator, he served as director of guidance and counseling at St. Joseph High School in Westchester, a guidance counselor at St. Patrick High School in Chicago, a part-time consultant in the corrections program at Chicago State University and an instructor at Chicago State University.
