Justinians bestow scholarships

The Justinian Society of Lawyers bestowed 21 scholarships totaling $54,000 at their 2022 installation and awards gala. That total doesn’t include matching grants from law schools. The recipients were Isabella Mazzanti, Nicole Alfano, Kimberly Bernhard, Adriana Bosco, Evan Deichstetter, Frank DiLeo, Marla Fontana, Carol Frugoli, Giana Galle, Arabella Gigliotti, Brandon Grant, Dorthea Keys Kohon, Monika Nasiadka, Olivia Raimondi, Joseph Ranieri, Sabrina Scardamaglia, Marissa Scavelli, Krista Solano, Kaitlin Stanfield, Christina Valentini and Nicholas Zito.

Justinians fête Sommario

Circuit Court offers Italian Heritage Month tours

Circuit Court of Cook County Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans has announced that the annual Italian Heritage Month Courthouse Tour of the Richard J. Daley Center will take place on Oct. 9. The tour is co-sponsored by the JCCIA and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. Justinians uphold legacy of giving

The Justinian Society of Lawyers held its 15th annual Children’s Endowment Fund dinner at Lux Bar in Chicago. More than 60 Justinians were in attendance as the 2017 CEF recipients, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Reflections Foundation, each received a sizeable grant check for $3,625. The mission of the CEF is to assist disabled or disadvantaged children in our community. Justinians hosts glittering installation

    On Thursday, September 15, the Justinian Society of Lawyers held its annual Installation and Awards dinner at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. Justinian fund aids kids’ causes

The Justinian Society of Lawyers donated $4,000 each to Bear Necessities and Pro Bono Network at its 14th annual Children’s Endowment Fund dinner. Created by the Justinians during the presidency of Antonio M. Romanucci to assist disabled and disadvantaged children, the fund has made donations to causes such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, Illinois Eye Institute, and Ronald McDonald House.
